A once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never forget! I was visiting from California and wanted to see NYC from above, but didn't want a loud, cramped helicopter tour. This was the perfect alternative, and as far as I can tell they're the only ones offering a fixed-wing (airplane) aerial tour in NYC. And this was no 15-minute helicopter ride. It was a smooth, quiet, not-at-all-bumpy 45-minute flight. The cabin was comfortable, and every seat is a window seat, so I could relax and take in the views. I purchased their top daytime tour package, added on the VIP golf cart service, and my pilot obtained clearance to fly right over NYC. And what views: up-close looks at the iconic skyscrapers, the Statue of Liberty, and Central Park that I'll never forget. It started before we even took off. They have their own private lounge, so I wasn't herded through the main terminal like cattle the way the helicopter companies had their guests. From the ID checks to the safety briefings and a proper preflight briefing, I quickly realized this is an actual FAA-authorized sightseeing tour operator that essentially runs like a miniature airline, a professionally run operation from start to finish. Out of the six pilots on the team, I had the Chief Pilot today, an FAA-certified flight instructor. On this kind of tour you can even take the controls and fly the plane yourself, something no helicopter tour can offer. My pilot was top notch: incredibly skilled and safety-focused, and I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. I also purchased the photo package and left all the picture-taking to them, which meant I could just sit back and soak in the experience instead of fumbling with my phone. The hospitality was wonderful from the moment we met through the landing. Everyone was thoughtful and accommodating every step of the way, even flexible with rescheduling around the weather. They bill themselves as NYC's finest aerial tour experience, which is a pretty bold claim, and they genuinely lived up to it. The Experience Behind the Review
What stands out in Cheenu's account is how much of the experience happened on the ground.
